Oto-Wa Taiko Concert: Two Cities - One Beat |
| Location: |
Canadian Museum of Civilization Theatre
This Mother's Day special one-time event took place at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Our very own Oto-Wa Taiko proudly welcomed Kamo Tsunamura Daiko from Sendai, Japan for two special joint concerts in honour of the 80th Anniversary of Japan-Canada Diplomatic Relations and Asian Heritage Month. The Concerts, entitled "Two Cities - One Beat", featured the powerful sounds of the traditional Japanese drum, as played by Oto-wa Taiko and Kamo Tsunamura Daiko. The matinee show included a short performance by Ottawa's children's taiko group - Dagaku. |
